Playlist painting.

Playlist artworks are a combination of still-life and a selective discography. When these are a commissioned the client gives a top 20 of music and logos from memorable events. We collaborate with the layout to produce a customised artwork.

Some of my early collection paintings are based on my record collection and these playlist artworks have evolved from that. When I had no space for my records in my flat I produced a painting to visualise that element of escapism found within your music.

Examples in this gallery include a discography drawing gifted to Carl Cox and other pencil drawings and oil paintings. There are also some shown here without any lettering.
